New MacBook!

This is the new, second generation, aluminum MacBook, and it looks like it is the best mac ever! Simply because it is the best value mac you can get - which means that this will be very popular... It has bought back the highly requested and popular firewire connection as well as a new and very useful SD card slot.
The screen colour has been improved, as well as the battery, which can last for up to 7 hours! The processor speed has been increased and the illuminated keyboard now comes on all the MacBook aluminum computers which are now all called MacBook Pros, because there is a new and better standard.
And finally, the price on all 13, 15 and 17 inch computers has dropped to a very good and affordable price, making this the best value Macs apple has produced!

All Mac Products, including the iPods and iPhones are now made from 100% recycled material, which makes MacBooks the cleanest and greenest laptops on the market.

Here is a comparison picture between the current iMac (Apples desktop computer) and the previous iMac (which ran Mac OS 10.4 - tiger). The Current iMac on the right runs Mac OS 10.5 - Leopard and soon to be released - Snow Leopard (10.6):

Here is the current iPod Nano (Generation 4), along with the previous version (Generation 3). These two pieces of technology made history with generation 3 being able to hold up to 8GB of files, play music, play videos, view photos and play games. The 4th Generation, on top of that, became the thinnest mp3 player in the world, having a capacity of up to 16GB and holding an inbuilt accelerometer.

Macintosh

An introdution to Macintosh:

Macintosh (or mac) are a computer company which makes the iPod, iPhone, Apple computers and a range of software such as iTunes, iPhoto, Safari, PhotoBooth, Garage Band, iMovie, iDVD. They also develop computer systems for the Apple computers.
Macintosh also develop profesionaly advanced software which is used in the Dysney Pixar films (ie. Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, etc...). The advanced programs which are generally avalible for purchase are: Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Pro, Shake and Lodgic Studio.

The Advantages of Mac over PC:
Mac computers never freeze or crash, unlike PC's which do it all the time. This is a huge advantage of Mac computers. If, very rarely, a program needs to close, it will not affect other programs. Also, (and very rarely) if a program will not close, you can force quit it in around 5 seconds. PC's have task manager and 60 percent of the time, it will not work and you will have to restart the computer...
Mac's are not slow like PC's, after they have reached a year old. Macs are quick and very fast at start up and shutdown. A Mac computer will take 15 seconds to start up and 5 seconds to log you in (as of Mac OS 10.5 – leopard). It takes 4 seconds log out and shutdown.
Mac’s never get viruses, which is a second huge advantage to them. This is partly the reason, they are so fast and efficient.
Mac’s just look better than PC’s. 95 percent of the time, whenever a computer is in a Movie or TV show, it is always a Mac, which is because they are more attractive… and look better. They have a brilliant exterior on all models. They have a slim design and are extremely compact. The keyboard is less than a cm thin, and the computer itself is a bit thicker than just the monitor, on PC’s. There is no large and bulk box which you have to plug it into.
The graphics on Mac computers are stunning. They give you a HD picture and sound.
Mac computers will generally last longer than PC’s, a guarantee of over 10 years. The only reason you would need another computer was if it went out of fashion (yes, not even date – the systems made on the computers are designed to ‘last’ and not outdate themselves like PC’s after around 5 years.
The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth system on Mac computers is much better than on PC’s. If it picks up a signal, it will immediately connect (there is no stuffing around with set up wizards and security codes).
Now, the real issue: compatibility. People generally say that: “Macs can not run anything made or created on PC, they can’t play games and they are hard to use”.
The new models (of 2007/08) can read the documents and programs of PC. Some applications, however, are made for PC and PC only. That’s why you can now actually run windows on Mac computers, using a program called Boot Camp. This has been designed so that Mac users can access PC files that still could not be accessed on the new systems.

The Advantages of PC over Mac:
PC computers are generally more advanced with games than Mac. However, Mac are now catching up to PC with the video gaming revolution. At the current time, PCs are considered to be easier to use than a Mac. This statement is true, but the only reason why that is, is because the world has become used to PCs. However, when you get used to a Mac, you find that macs are actually easier to use.

The comback:
At the moment, mac computers are making a comback against PCs. When the system 10.4 (tiger) was introduced in 2005 Apple computers counted for just under 10% of the computing world. Now, in 2008, durring the period of Mac OS 10.5 (leopard), and when the new design of notebooks were introduced, Apple computers counted for just over 17%.
